I'd never seen it in the theatre. On the big screen I really appreciated certain scenes a lot more. The opera scene was way more affecting. And the dramatic finish at the end when Isaac see's Mariel Hemmingway's reflection in her apartment window after the doorman takes her luggage. I said I wished living in Ottawa when a new Woody Allen film would net about 3 other moviegoers. This one was sold out the afternoon of it's opening weekend. All showings, bad reviews be damned. Well it's comforting to see boozy couples in their late 30s who still totally can't get it together. It must mean there's still hope. Or that there's none. I'm not sure now.

I have also come to the conclusion that Naomi Watts is tops. Tops, I say.

I saw this in highschool. Not in the highschool, that would probably be forbidden, but when I was highschool aged, and when this was relatively current.
